March 30, 2007, Newsletter Issue #58: Famous Vegans and Pamela Anderson's Diet Tip

Tip of the Week

Albert Einstein once said: "Nothing will benefit human health or increase the chances for survival of life on earth as the evolution to a vegetarian diet." Famous vegetarians' list begins well back in history and include Einstein himself, Charles Darwin, Mahatma Gandhi, Thomas Edison, Leonardo da Vinci, Leo Tolstoy, to name just a few.

There are many vegetarians among celebrity actors a couple of examples being Alec Baldwin and Alicia Silverstone. Pamela Anderson is a model who has set a record of being on the cover page of the Playboy magazine. But also, Anderson is a vegan, which means she doesn't consume or wear any animal products. At one time, she's been seriously considering a New Age fruitarian diet. True, vegans tend to be skinny, however, Pamela also takes Trimpsa diet pills (without the now banned ephedrine but with the herb Hoodia instead).

Pamela has her own diet tip. She chews sugar-free gum while she's cooking. This make trying the ingredient in the process pretty difficult, she says.
