Tip of the Week

Sticking with a diet that's been successful for you seems to be logical and easy. Why it stops working sooner or later, in so many cases? The reasons can be:

1. It's not your fault. Your body started feeling deprived making you craving sweets or other foods.

2. Your body adapted to your new way of eating and now, to keep losing weight, you need stricter limitations, which are above your levels of tolerance.

3. Your nutritional needs, that are not met on ANY reduction diet, reached the level of deficiency and your body is trying to get them making you cheat.

What to do?

Change your diet. If, for example, you were restricting fat intake for too long, go low carb! Low carb, higher-fat ("good" fat of course) dieting is attractive by its ability to reduce appetite and cravings. There's a free online diet that uses this exact approach: bantadiet.com. You might want to try it.
