In addition, the Jenny Craig plan considers any food that is less than 25 calories as a “free food” that you can have at any point during the day (as long as you don't go overboard and have 20 of whatever it is).
Caveat: Although vegetarian menus are available, the Jenny Craig website states that none of the current Jenny Craig meals are kosher certified. The Jenny Craig plan doesn't leave you on your own; if you need lots of help and support for your weight loss efforts, you have it 24/7 by phone, online, and via regular meetings with a Jenny Craig consultant.
Jenny Craig focuses on helping you reach your short-term weight loss goals. When it comes to maintaining a healthy weight over time, you may need to take more responsibility. Part of the idea behind Jenny Craig is that eventually successful dieters will use the Jenny Craig meals as models for preparing more of their own meals as far as portion sizes and balanced food groups.
